NOELLE RUBAS, PH.D.
Noelle’s research focuses on the interplay between animals and their microbial inhabitants. She is particularly interested in the interaction between the microbiome and epigenetic processes within the host, as well as how this relationship influences health and disease susceptibility.
Noelle’s work encompasses several key areas: the interaction between microbiota and the host methylome, the impact of microbial modulation on host gene regulation and cellular function, and the priming of host immunological responses by microbial communities.
