LESLEY UMEDA, M.S.

Lesley is a graduate student in the Maunakea lab researching interactions between the gut microbiome and host environment. She joined the lab as an undergraduate student and has continued here as a masters student.

Her interests include community health, precision medicine and gut microbiome interactions with host immunity. Lesley is currently involved in the Maui wildfire study recruitment and collection at community events on Maui.
