CONNOR SLAVENS

Connor is an undergraduate researcher focusing on the intersection of genetics and aging in Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) populations. His current project investigates the impact of
ethnic-specific SNPs on epigenetic age and aims to refine existing epigenetic clocks using NHPI data. By developing more accurate tools to predict aging rates, Connor hopes to shed light on health disparities and improve personalized healthcare for NHPI communities.
